Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all vehicle detailing services provided by Daedalus Auto Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Customer”, “you”, “your” refers to the individual or business booking a service

  • “Vehicle” refers to any car, motorcycle, or other vehicle presented for detailing

  • “Services” refers to all detailing, cleaning, or enhancement work carried out by Daedalus Auto Ltd

2. Bookings & Cancellations

2.1 Booking Confirmation

​A booking is confirmed only when:

  • A date/time has been agreed, and

  • A deposit has been paid

​

2.2 Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost

  • Missed appointments may be charged at full service cost

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability, but we will do our best to accommodate as soon as possible

2.3 Deposits

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless either we cancel your appointment, or your slot can be filled in time.

3. Pricing & Payments

3.1 Pricing

  • Prices vary depending on vehicle size, condition, and service level

  • Excessive dirt, pet hair, mould, smoke damage, or heavily neglected vehicles may incur additional charges, which will be discussed before work begins

3.2 Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due upon completion of services

  • We accept: Online or card payments

​

3.3 Quotation Changes

If your vehicle's condition differs significantly from the description provided during booking, the quote may be adjusted.

 

4. Customer Responsibilities

You must inform us of:

  • Any defects, loose parts, or known issues

  • Any prior repairs, resprays, or sensitive areas

  • Any aftermarket modifications that may affect detailing

We are not responsible for damage arising from undisclosed vehicle issues.

5. Liability & Disclaimers

5.1 General Liability

We take great care during all services. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Loose or failing components​

  • Damage caused by undisclosed vehicle conditions

  • Items left inside the vehicle

  • Loss of data from electronic systems

5.2 Condition of results

Results vary depending on:

  • Vehicle age

  • Paint condition

  • Prior maintenance

  • Severity of defects

We cannot guarantee the removal of all defects, scratches or contaminants.

5.3 Engine Bay & Electrical Areas

Upon request, we may clean engine bays or sensitive areas. Although precautions are taken, we are not liable for electrical issues arising from existing faults or vulnerabilities.

6. Warranty & Satisfaction

6.1 General Liability

We strive for high-quality results. If you are dissatisfied:

  • Notify us during the final inspection of your vehicle, and in any case within 24 hours of the service being completed

  • Provide photos or return the vehicle for inspection

After 24 hours, environmental exposure may affect results and limit our ability to assist. Daedalus Auto Ltd are fully insured for both Public Liability and Accidental Damage whilst working on your vehicle.

6.2 Product Performance

Coatings and sealants have lifespan estimates based on normal conditions. Performance may vary due to:

  • Weather

  • Previous washing methods

  • Usage patterns

  • Environmental exposure

We can provide care guidelines to help maintain results.

7. Valuables & Personal Items

Please remove valuables before your appointment. We are not responsible for loss or damage to any items left in the vehicle.

We may refuse service if the vehicle contains hazardous or inappropriate materials.

8. Photographs & Marketing

Your consent is assumed for the following:​

  • Taking before and after photos of your vehicle

  • Using these images for marketing purposes (website, social media, etc.)

Consent must be explicitly withdrawn at the time of vehicle drop off if you don't wish this to happen.

9. Health & Safety

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

  • The vehicle poses health risks (sever mould, sharp objects, etc.)

​

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Illness

  • Equipment failure

  • Accidents

  • Supply chain issues

In such cases, we will reschedule your appointment at the earlier convenience.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

We may update the Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
